Congratulations on a fine Spring training season. Last months freestyle emphasis in mechanics and conditioning has provided a fantastic base for the summer season. June training will focus on the skills and conditioning in preparation for the 2003 Surf n Sea North Shore Swim Series. Big distance Wednesdays will return to provide extra conditioning. A blend of ocean swimming skills, race strategy, and pacing will be incorporated into the workouts to offer the extra edge in training and race preparation. Remember to stretch and have a thorough warm-up prior to building the intensity in workouts and events. This beneficial start will provide positive results with an increased range of motion, injury prevention, and a focused, relaxed, positive outlook.

A fantastic summer experience opportunity is available at the University of Hawaii pool. Coach Mike Anderson and wife have scheduled their second annual unique experience for children this summer. Information for the unique Hawaii Aqua Camp is located in the coaches office.
