Guess what I did this week? I went to California and surfed!

The water was really cold but I got used to it quick. One of the first spots I surfed was Huntington Beach. I went out but it was a little big and had a strong rip. I had fun learning but my experience turned out not so good.

Later we went down to Newport Tower 36 and I surfed there with my friends Sophia, Sam, Kristen and Danielle. I had a btter time because it was smaller. I learned the more you go South at Newport the smaller the waves are.

A few days later we went down to Trestles. It wasn't like my dad remembered since he last came 20 years ago. But we still had a lot of fun, it was the bomb! Later in te afternoon we went to San Onofre - it was mushy there.

Oh yeah, I did a Roxy photo shoot and even signed some posters with some of the other Roxy surfers while I was there.
